1. ARE ARTWALK TICKETS AVAILABLE NOW?

Tickets go on sale from 28 February 2014.

2. WHERE CAN I GET TICKETS?

From Bookazine bookshops and select galleries along Hollywood Road. Click here for latest ticketing information.

3. ARE STUDENT TICKETS AVAILABLE?

YES – but only a LIMITED number of student tickets are available.

4. WHAT ARE THE TWO ADULT TICKETING OPTIONS FOR ARTWALK 2014?

You can visit ALL ArtWalk galleries @ HK$400 each.

Or visit ONLY Aberdeen/Wong Chuk Hang galleries @ HK$280 each.

Tickets will be available from all sales outlets until sold out. On ArtWalk day, you can go directly to Aberdeen/Wong Chuk Hang and tickets will be available at select galleries in the area.

5. ARE CREDIT CARDS ACCEPTED?

No. Cash payment only.

6. CAN I STILL BUY TICKETS ON THE EVENT DAY?

Yes! Adult tickets will be available from all sales outlets until sold out.

For Aberdeen only tickets: On ArtWalk day, you can go directly to Aberdeen/Wong Chuk Hang and tickets will be available at select galleries in the area. 

Please buy your tickets early to avoid disappointment!

7. IS THE TICKET MY ENTRY PASS TO THE GALLERIES ON ARTWALK NIGHT?

When you buy an ArtWalk ticket, you are given an ArtWalk entry badge – this allows entry into galleries on ArtWalk night. Remember: No BADGE – No ENTRY to ArtWalk!

Volunteers at the door of galleries will check badges before entry is allowed.

8. WHERE IS THE ARTWALK BROCHURE DISTRIBUTED FROM?

When you buy your ArtWalk ticket you will also receive the ArtWalk brochure and map.

If you purchased an ArtWalk ticket and did not receive the brochure and map at the time: – you can collect the Artwalk brochure and map from one of the ticket-selling outlets or from The Space, 210 Hollywood Road, Sheung Wan after 12noon on ArtWalk day, 12 March 2014.

9. IS THIS A CHARITY EVENT?

Yes. Our benefiting charity this year is the Society for Community Organization (SoCO). Last year, SoCO was also the benefiting charity and received a donation of HK$150,000 (a lower figure than previous years, due to rain).

10. WHAT DO I GET IF I BUY A TICKET FOR ARTWALK?

You will:

  • Have entry to all participating galleries and art spaces between 4.30pm to 11.30pm on 12 March 2014.
  • Have free ‘finger food’ donated by ArtWalk’s participating galleries and sponsoring restaurants.
  • Be served wine sponsored by each gallery.
  • Be able to drink Arcobräu beer and Solé mineral water – kindly sponsored by Solar Max.
  • Receive the comprehensive ArtWalk brochure & map listing all participating galleries, outlining the additional ArtWalk Extra events during ArtWalk.
  • A donation from the proceeds of ticket sales will be donated to the Society for Community Organization (SoCO).
  • …and have an enjoyable night!

    11. WHERE DOES ARTWALK START?

    For ADULT Ticket Holders: You can START at ANY of the galleries if you have a full ArtWalk ticket. If you have an Aberdeen only ticket start in Aberdeedn/Wong Chuk Hang. Remember to wear your ArtWalk Entry Badge.

    For STUDENT Ticket Holders: You can ONLY START at Hong Kong Arts Centre – where, between 4.30pm to 8pm on 18 April, you can buy and collect your ArtWalk entry badge, brochure and map.

    At The Space, 210 Hollywood Road, Sheung Wan you can visit the exhibition about ArtWalk’s benefiting charity, the Society of Community Organization (SoCO) and see artists’ performance between 12noon to 11pm.

    12. WHAT IS ARTWALK EXTRA?

    Extra art performance, installations, videos and other art venues that you can see and visit while walking between ArtWalk galleries. For details.

    13. WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS ON ARTWALK NIGHT?

    ArtWalk will still be held on ArtWalk night even if rainy. ArtWalk will only be cancelled if Typhoon Signal Number 8 is raised. This website will have up-to-date information on ArtWalk day.

    14. WHERE IS THE BEST PLACE FOR THE PUBLIC TO GET UP-TO-DATE INFORMATION ABOUT ARTWALK?

    Check this ArtWalk website – which will be regularly updated in the last days of ticket sales: use your ‘refresh’ button to reload pages.
